Η Ελίνα Παπασπυροπούλου είναι απόφοιτος της Νομικής Σχολής του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Φοίτησε, επίσης, στη Νομική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Leibniz στο Αννόβερο της Γερμανίας.
Από τον Απρίλιο 2022 κατέχει τη θέση της Γενικής Διευθύντριας της Ένωσης Ασφαλιστικών Εταιριών Ελλάδος. Είναι, επίσης, Αντιπρόεδρος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου του Ταμείου Επαγγελματικής Ασφάλισης Επικούρησης Ασφαλιστών και Προσωπικού Ασφαλιστικών Επιχειρήσεων, Αντιπρόεδρος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου του Ελληνικού Ινστιτούτου Ασφαλιστικών Σπουδών, μέλος της Εκτελεστικής Επιτροπής της Insurance Europe και Προσκεκλημένο Μέλος Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου (Guest Board Member) στο EFICERT, τον ευρωπαϊκό οργανισμό πιστοποίησης ασφαλιστικών επαγγελματιών.
Διαθέτει 27 χρόνια εμπειρίας στον ασφαλιστικό κλάδο με εξειδίκευση στην ασφάλιση αστικής ευθύνης για μεγάλους εμπορικούς και βιομηχανικούς κινδύνους. Το 1997 ξεκίνησε ως underwriter Αστικής Ευθύνης στην Gerling VAG και το 1999 ανέλαβε τη διεύθυνση του Κλάδου Αστικής Ευθύνης της εταιρείας. Από το 2015 έως το 2019 είχε την Τεχνική Διεύθυνση στην HDI Global SE (underwriting και claims) για τις εργασίες της εταιρείας στην Ελλάδα, τις χώρες των Βαλκανίων και της ΝΑ Μεσογείου. Τον Σεπτέμβριο 2019 ανέλαβε την Διεύθυνση του Τμήματος Προαιρετικών Αντασφαλίσεων στην AON Greece SA για τις εργασίες της εταιρείας στην Ελλάδα και την Κύπρο.

Elina Papaspyropoulou is a graduate of the School of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has also attended the Faculty of Law of the Leibniz University in Hannover, Germany. She holds the position of Director General of the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies since April 2022. She is also Vice President of the BoD of the Occupational Fund of Private Insurance (TEA-EAPAE) and Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors at the Greek Institute of Insurance Studies. Additionally, she is a Member of the Executive Committee of Insurance Europe, the European insurance and reinsurance federation, and a Guest Board Member at EFICERT, a European network of institutions promoting common standards and certification in insurance education.
Elina has 25 years of experience in the insurance industry specializing in liability insurance for major commercial and industrial risks. In 1997 she started as a Liability underwriter at Gerling VAG and in 1999 she took over the management of the company's Liability Division. From 2015 to 2019 she was the Technical Director at HDI Global SE (underwriting and claims) for the company's operations in Greece, Balkans, and SE Mediterranean. In September 2019, she took over the Management of the Facultative Reinsurance Department at AON Greece SA for the company's operations in Greece and Cyprus.
