Καθηγητής Εμπορικού δικαίου ΟΠΑ, ιδρυτής και εταίρος της δικηγορικής εταιρίας Ρόκας (1977), εισηγητής μιας σειράς νομοθετημάτων εμπορικού δικαίου,  κυρίως  στον τομέα της ιδιωτικής ασφάλισης, μεταξύ των οποίων ο “νόμος για την ασφαλιστική σύμβαση” και οι “νόμοι για την ασφαλιστική επιχείρηση”, η “ασφαλιστική διαμεσολάβηση και η “ασφάλιση ευθύνης αυτοκινήτων της Δημοκρατίας της Βοσνίας & Ερζεγοβίνης”, μέλος του “Restatement of European Insurance Contract Law” που συνέταξε τα “Principal of European Insurance Contract Law” (2009), πρόεδρος ε.τ. της International Insurance Law Association (Zürich), συγγραφέας μιας σειράς επιστημονικών νομικών συγγραμμάτων και  άρθρων σε ελληνικά και διεθνή επιστημονικά περιοδικά.

Professor Emeritus of Commercial Law at the Athens University of Economics and Business; Founder and Partner of Rokas Law Firm (est. 1977); Rapporteur for a series of commercial law legislative acts, primarily in the field of private insurance, including the "Insurance Contract Act" and the Acts of "Insurance Undertakings", "Insurance Intermediaries” and “Motor Third Party Liability Insurance of the Republic of Bosnia & Herzegovina"; Member of the project "Restatement of European Insurance Contract Law", which drafted the "Principles of European Insurance Contract Law" (PEICL, 2009); Honorary President of the Association Internationale de Droit des Assurances (Zürich); Author of numerous monographies and handbooks, as well as articles in Greek and international peer-reviewed journals.
