Ο κ. Στάθης Τσαούσης γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα και απέκτησε επαγγελματική εκπαίδευση παρακολουθώντας εξειδικευμένο πρόγραμμα στελεχών, με πρακτική άσκηση στην LOMBARD CONTINENTAL UK και στους LLOYD’S, καθώς και πρόγραμμα εκπαίδευσης τεχνικών ασφαλίσεων στην Munich Re.
Ξεκίνησε τη σταδιοδρομία του το 1978 στην ασφαλιστική αγορά στη “ΜΕΣΟΓΕΙΟ ΑΣΦΑΛΙΣΤΙΚΗ ΑΕ” αποχωρώντας ως Τεχνικός Διευθυντής, συνέχισε την επαγγελματική του πορεία στην “AGF KOSMOS” με παρόμοιο ρόλο, ενώ επί σειρά ετών διετέλεσε Τεχνικός και Εμπορικός Διευθυντής στην “AON Hellas”.
Το 2005 μετακινήθηκε στη “VICTORIA Insurance Co.” αναλαμβάνοντας τη θέση του Διευθυντή Πωλήσεων, ενώ από το 2009 προήχθη σε Εμπορικό Διευθυντή και μετά την μετονομασία της εταιρείας σε “ERGO Ασφαλιστική” ανέλαβε καθήκοντα Διευθυντή Τομέα Εμπορικών Λειτουργιών, έχοντας στην επίβλεψή του όλες τις Διευθύνσεις Πωλήσεων, το Τμήμα Μάρκετινγκ και το Τμήμα Φροντίδας Πελάτη. Από το 2021 είναι Διευθυντής του Τομέα Πωλήσεων (Ανεξάρτητο δίκτυο, Εταιρικό δίκτυο, Μεσίτες και Bancassurance) και Μέλος της Εκτελεστικής Επιτροπής της εταιρείας.
Συμμετέχει ως μέλος στην επιτροπή Σχεδιασμού Προϊόντων, Διανομής & Δικτύων της Ε.Α.Ε.Ε., κατέχει τη θέση του Αντιπροέδρου στη Διαχειριστική Επιτροπή του Ε.Κ. καθώς και τη θέση του Γενικού Γραμματέα στον Σ.Ε.Σ.Α.Ε.

Mr. Stathis Tsaoussis was born in Athens and obtained professional training by attending a specialized executive program, with internships at LOMBARD CONTINENTAL UK and LLOYD'S, as well as a technical insurance training program at Munich Re.
He started his career in the insurance market in 1978, at MESOGIOS Insurance S.A., leaving as Technical Director, and he continued his career at AGF KOSMOS in a similar position, while for a number of years he was Technical and Commercial Director at AON Hellas.
In 2005, he moved to VICTORIA Insurance Co., assuming the position of Sales Manager, in 2009 he was promoted to Commercial Manager and following the company's rebranding to ERGO Insurance, he assumed the duties of Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, overseeing all Sales Departments, the Marketing Department and the Customer Care Department.
Since 2021, he is Chief Sales Officer (Independent, Tied, Brokers and Bancassurance networks) and Member of the Executive Committee of the company.
He participates as a member in the Product Design & Distribution Committee of the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies (H.A.I.C.), as Vice-President in the Administrative Committee of the Auxiliary Fund as well as General Secretary at the Association of Representatives and Executives of Insurance Companies.
