Sorin Greceanu is the President of the Council of Bureaux (COB), elected in 2025 for a five-year mandate, following a previous term as Vice-President from 2020 to 2025. He is also the General Manager of BAAR, Romania’s Motor Insurers’ Bureau, and a Board Member of the Institute for European Traffic Law (IETL). With nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance sector, primarily in motor insurance, he brings extensive expertise in European traffic law and the handling of cross-border claims. He is fluent in Romanian, German, and English.
